In Luke 9 and Luke 10, Jesus sends his disciples out to do ministry. He sent them to the nearby towns and villages to preach the good news, heal the sick, cast out demons, etc. And when they come back, they excitedly share all that God had done through them. Wouldn't it be great if we had a place like to send our students out to each week and then hear what God did when they come back the next week? Their school is that place! Going out to do ministry is an essential part of the discipleship process - your students NEED this to keep growing in their faith. And 9 Month Mission Trip is a great tool to help them in this way.

Celebrate the wins!

Encourage your students to come back and share their stories with you and with your whole group - maybe with your whole church! When you students share what God is doing, it will light a fire in your student ministry.

It's the easiest mission trip you'll ever do!

You don't have to raise any money for this mission trip! The taxpayers of your state cover it for you. You don't have to arrange transportation. A big yellow bus will pick up your students if they need a ride. You don't have to arrange lodging, teach them a new language or worry about passports! But thinking of their school as a mission field will help your students have a genuine everyday faith, it will help them be mission-minded wherever they go in the future, and they'll get to see God use them right where they are.
